Camp Manager
Job Description
- Work Term: Seasonal

- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
- Education/teaching of individuals in elementary special education programs
- Education/teaching of individuals in secondary special education programs
- Child care provider/assistant
- Parks, recreation and leisure studies
- Kinesiology and exercise science
- Therapeutic recreation/recreational therapy
- or equivalent experience

- Plan and carry out recreational, fitness and sports activities
- Maintain and repair sports equipment
- Train and supervise staff
- Prepare reports
- Schedule activities, keep logs, maintain records and prepare reports
- Assist clients/guests with special needs
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
- Monitor recreational, sports or fitness activities to ensure safety and provide emergency or first aid assistance when required

- Lifesaving Bronze Cross
- National Lifeguard Service (NLS) Certificate
- CPR Certificate
- First Aid Certificate
- Criminal record check
