The Hammond River Nature Camp has an opening for a Summer Day Camp Director. This is a five-month position that would be a perfect summer job for a mature student while getting some valuable quantifiable experience. Maybe you are a parent who wants the ability to work for the summer and have the flexibility of having your children enrolled in the summer camp at no cost to you.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Camp Director will oversee most aspects of staffing, programming, and camper relations for our summer camp season. The director is accountable for the overall management of the program and is specifically responsible for personnel management, program development and health and safety management. The director will oversee up to 40 campers each week, ranging in age from 5-12 years old, while supervising and coaching up to 20 Camp Counsellors and Counsellors in Training. This position is approximately 5 months duration, beginning April 15th until September 15th (flexible). The director will work 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday.

Job Types: Temporary, Full-time

Salary: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
