Return Flights and Housing Alllowance provided - The school is a bilingual IB World School situated in Muscat, Oman serving the local Omani community, as well as the bilingual expatriate community. The school was established in 1993 under the ownership of the Royal Office and Royal Oman Police Pension Funds, on land donated by the late His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said, to provide high quality international education whilst embracing traditional values based on the foundations of Omans cultural heritage. The school is authorised to offer all three International Baccalaureate (IB) programs and the quality of its provision has been recognized with accreditation from the Council for International Schools (CIS). We are currently seeking a qualified and dedicated Business and Humanities Teacher to contribute to the academic excellence of our institution in Oman. This position offers a unique opportunity to inspire and guide students in the fields of business studies and humanities, fostering intellectual curiosity and preparing them for a globally competitive landscape. Key Responsibilities: Curriculum Development: Design and implement comprehensive and engaging curricula for business studies and humanities courses, aligning with international educational standards. Integrate real-world applications and case studies to enhance students' understanding and appreciation of business and humanities concepts. Interactive Instruction: Employ innovative teaching methodologies to create dynamic and interactive learning experiences. Foster critical thinking and analytical skills through thought-provoking discussions and activities in both business and humanities subjects. Assessment and Feedback: Develop and administer assessments that effectively evaluate student comprehension and application of business and humanities principles. Provide constructive and timely feedback to support student growth and development. Extracurricular Involvement: Encourage students to participate in business-related clubs, humanities forums, or other extracurricular activities to further enrich their educational experience. Mentor and guide students in pursuing projects and initiatives related to business and humanities. Parent and Community Communication: Establish transparent and open channels of communication with parents to keep them informed of their child's progress, achievements, and areas for development in business and humanities studies. Collaborate with the local community to promote awareness and understanding of the importance of business and humanities education. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Humanities, or a related field. Teaching certification. Minimum of 4 years of teaching experience, with a preference for candidates familiar with international educational frameworks. Strong command of business and humanities subjects, with a demonstrated ability to make the content accessible and engaging. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
