Are you a Business Intelligence Developer Insurance looking for a new opportunity?Are you looking for a new contract opportunity?We are pleased to offer you a new contract opportunity for you to consider: Business Intelligence DeveloperStart: ASAPEstimated length: 6 monthsLocation: TorontoHybrid remote work, 3 days a week onsiteAdvantagesYou will have an opportunity to work with a leading employer in the local market.Potential for contract extension, conversion to full time employment.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and understand business drivers, definitions, and metrics to interpret findings, take-action, and provide meaningful business direction.Develop and maintain specialized Business Intelligence (BI) packages, dashboards and scorecards on the MS Azure Cloud PlatformManage the repository of all reporting assets including and not limited to data analysis, development scripts, objects and documentation.Maintain expert knowledge of all main data sources for the data used within the business unit and ability to effectively utilize these data sourcesLead the discussion with business partners to understand business objectives and develop valuable reporting for enablement and fact based decisioningValidate the quality and integrity of the data included in all artifactsDevelop substantial and insightful commentary/insights on new and existing BI packagesWork independently as the senior analyst / expert and may provide technical support to othersQualificationsUndergraduate degree or above preferably in an analytically based discipline. Master preferred.8+ Experience in business or financial reporting/business insights and analysis development, is knowledgeable and savvy with new technology and tools preferably within the global financial services and back-office operationsExperience working in Agile environment5+ Hands-on experience in using business intelligence, analytics and/or data visualization tools (ex: Tableau)2+ Experience with Python, Databricks5+ years SQLStrong team player who fosters and thrives in an environment of peer development and sharingStrong analytically-anchored problem-solving skills – a logical and strategic thinker with strong critical reasoning skills, proactively identifies risks and issues, recommends solutions, challenges the status quoNice to Haves:Experience with Microsoft Azure is desired2+ years JIRA and ConfluenceSummaryDo you have this experience?
