We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial success of our firm while supporting our mission of serving our clients with integrity and professionalism.
HOURS: 30 PER WEEK
Duties:
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Process invoices, payments, and expense reports accurately and in a timely manner.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions.
- Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and internal policies.
- Collaborate with other team members to support financial operations and strategic initiatives.
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in the legal or immigration field is a plus.
