As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining financial records and ensuring accurate and timely bookkeeping for the organization.
Duties:
- Good data entry skills
- The ability to communicate complex financial data with other members
- The ability to work on multiple projects while adhering to tight deadlines
- A strong understanding of math and numbers
- The ability to use various financial transactions such as accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Prepare and issue invoices, receipts, and statements
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable and perform bank reconciliations
- Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process
- Stay updated on industry regulations and taxation requirements
- Assist with budget preparation and forecasting
- Familiarity with the general principles of accounting
- Great interpersonal skills that enable the Bookkeeper to clearly and effectively communicate with other employees
- Maintain and update financial records and create filing systems
- Conduct monthly and annual closings and produce financial reports
