You will engage and collaborate with First Nations, Métis and Inuit leaders and government partners to advance successful student outcomes. As an integral member of the executive team, you will articulate the vision and direction for the ministry to ensure that the ministry’s strategic direction fully integrates First Nations, Métis and Inuit education needs and perspectives.QualificationsA progressive leader with significant related executive experience, you have proven strengths in implementing complex initiatives and influencing inclusive and innovative policy development. You bring a deep understanding of the history, cultures, and contexts of First Nations, Métis and Inuit communities and education, and a reputation as a collaborator skilled at engaging and building trusting relationships. Your ability to inspire and empower teams and capacity for facilitating systemic change will position you for success. Experience with Indigenous culture and language is preferred.
