Working directly with the founder, the candidate is self-motivated and will take ownership and initiative producing high quality and trending video content for the DTC brand. Responsibilities 80% - Video Content Creation: Develop, film, produce, edit video content that aligns with our brand's tone and objectives, primarily for Instagram Reels and Tiktok videos Conduct research on video content and scripting ideas through observing social media trends and competitor analysis Copywriting for video scripting, captions, researching engaging hashtags, etc. 20% - Social Media Management: Plan and schedule content using a social media calendar with content planned on a weekly basis Manage social media platforms regularly, including engaging with the audience via comments and direct messages, creating engaging stories Building a loyal community of followers across our social media channels (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest) Increase brand awareness and customer retention across all marketing channels Requirements **This role is highly focused on video content creation, and there will be a minimum amount of videos required to be delivered on a weekly basis. Please review our social media channels to get an idea of what type of content will be required** Content creation experience with video filming and editing ( NOTE : we will be asking you to film some content for us as part of the interviewing process) Post Secondary Degree or Diploma in Marketing or Digital Commerce Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize assignments Highly motivated, passionate, and energetic self-starter Photography skills is a considered an asset Note: The role is 90% remote, with a requirement to meet up in Downtown Toronto / GTA area as required for strategic planning sessions no more than 1-2x monthly. Contract length and hours are flexible, and can be discussed.
