Position Overview
As a Security Agent at Cabot Cape Breton, you will be entrusted with ensuring the safety and security of our guests, staff, and property. Your role involves patrolling the premises, monitoring surveillance systems, and responding promptly to any security incidents or emergencies. You will enforce resort policies, assist guests and employees as needed, and collaborate with local authorities when necessary. Attention to detail, excellent observation skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure are essential in this role. By maintaining a vigilant presence and providing a sense of security, you will contribute significantly to the overall well-being and peace of mind of everyone at Cabot Cape Breton, fostering a secure environment for our guests and staff.

Preferred Qualifications And Skills
- Previous experience in a Security role required
- Certification in CPR First Aid required
- Defibrillator training
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
Requirements Of The Role You Should Be Aware Of
- Based on the nature of our business and the service we provide to our guests, to work with us, you must consent to a criminal background check as a condition of employment and an additional criminal background check every two years.
- As a seasonal resort business, you can anticipate a schedule that will involve day, evening, night, and weekend work.
- Spending long hours moving around, walking, sitting, standing, and crouching while performing other duties
- Occasionally lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling objects up to 50lbs
- Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
- Ability to work mostly evening and overnight shifts
