Position: Technical Sales Representative Location: Fredericton, NB C-Therm is growing again! Who is C-Therm? What a Technical Sales Representative will do here… The objective of the Technical Sales Representative is to contribute towards the continued long-term growth of the company by proactively creating and managing sales opportunities. Duties include, but are not limited to: Develop and implement territorial and market strategy plans. Be responsible primarily for direct sales via prospecting, qualifying, selling and closing of potential business. Provide internal sales coordination. Conduct lead-finding and generate qualified opportunities. Conduct professional sales presentations and perform instrument demonstrations. Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities. Manage client relationships through the sales cycle. Attend seminars & conferences as required. Get involved in specialty industry groups. Provide reporting and forecasting as requested. Track customer information and details using the CRM/Database system. Support the Marketing department in reporting on market trends and/or opportunities that can benefit the company. Work alongside engineers, marketers, and leadership and across teams within the organization. What will make you a perfect candidate… A results-oriented and driven personality. Being multilingual is considered a strong asset. Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering or equivalent training with strong technical background. Master’s degree in Business Administration is an asset. Strong business acumen - proven experience in business development or client/partner relations. Strong technical acumen - possess a natural curiosity and ability to quickly understand technical applications of thermal analysis techniques. Being professional, articulate, and enthusiastic. Customer focused and comfortable interacting with new people and cultures. Working knowledge of word processing, desktop publishing, presentation software, database management and spreadsheet applications. Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software experience with SalesForce would be considered an asset. Previous experience in heat transfer or material characterization (e.g. Thermal Conductivity, DMA, DSC, TGA, TMA, etc.) is an asset. Demonstrate leadership in proactively driving the development of business.
