As a Bank Teller, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service to our clients while also performing a variety of financial transactions. You will be the face of our company, responsible for delivering a positive and professional experience to each individual that walks through our doors.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Process various financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and payments.
- Answer customer inquiries and provide information about bank products and services.
- Maintain an accurate cash drawer and balance at the end of each shift.
- Monitor and report suspicious or fraudulent activities to bank management.
- Ensure compliance with bank policies and procedures.
- Cross-sell bank products to customers and meet sales targets.
- Assist with opening and closing accounts for customers.
- Handle large cash transactions and dispense cash from automated teller machines (ATMs).
- Assist with processing loan and credit card applications.
- Maintain confidentiality of customer information.
- Resolve any customer complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in banking regulations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent, with some college coursework preferred.
- Prior experience in customer service or cash handling is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
