Healthcare Assistant

Job Description

Duties:

- Provide compassionate care and assistance to patients in various healthcare settings such as hospice care, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and home care.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
- Perform patient assessments and report any changes in patient condition to the nursing staff.
- Assist with heavy lifting and transferring of patients when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.

Skills:

- Experience in caregiving or healthcare assistance.
- Ability to handle heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks.
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to provide quality patient care with compassion and empathy.
- Familiarity with working in environments such as nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or hospice care settings.

Job Type: Part-time

Expected hours: 24 per week
