Hours: 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday - Friday

Primary Purpose:

The primary purpose of the International Education Consultant is to ensure that students are able to effectively complete the enrolment process with education partner each start date.
The International Education Consultant will also ensure the effective delivery of support services to all international students on campus. In addition, coordinate services with campus staff, community partners and volunteers.

This role will initially focus primarily on student enrollment support and subsequently to welcome services and monitoring to ensure student health, safety, and well-being.

The International Education Consultant will support the vision, mission, and values of Eastern College while contributing to a positive, supportive, and student-focused team environment of respect, integrity, dedication, and readiness, embracing diversity, and fostering inclusion.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Telephone prospecting through contact and follow-up with potential students.
  • Recruit new students through regular and ongoing outreach activities.
  • Interview and test applicants using the triOS pre-screening and sales process.
  • Establish and maintain rapport with student body and staff to promote referrals.
  • Maintain regular data entry in the College Administration System (XCAS).

Qualifications:

  • Minimum one (1) year of experience in a related sales occupation or at least two (2) years of experience in a non-related sales occupation.
  • 1-2 years’ demonstrated experience and proven success in customer service, presentations and public speaking skills is required (preferably with students).
