PMC is looking for an energetic and motivated Programming Technician to join our growing team.
We’re looking for someone who has a great attention to details, likes to take initiative with assignments, and is a team player interested in gaining experience in the Construction and HVAC Industry.

We use energy efficient HVAC equipment, modern open control systems and unique control strategies to fine tune building performance and minimize energy use. We have performed many successful building retrofits, saving our customers hundreds of thousands of kilowatts of electricity.
PMC has been built on the foundation of a multi-trade technical and engineering team working collaboratively to deliver a superior product and service to our clients. Our team currently includes electricians, building automation technicians, HVAC journeymen, G1 gas technicians, mechanical engineers and more.
Key Responsibility Areas:
The successful candidate will be involved in Building Automation System (BAS) Projects.
BAS Controls Programming Technician:
· Programming of various Building Automation Systems based on our Sequence of Operations.
· Create and Update graphics.
· Monitoring some of our Building Automation Systems for performance and continued Energy savings.
Training, Education & Qualifications
· Preference will be given to those applicants with the best combination of the followings skills and personal attributes.
· Excellent interpersonal skills, strong team spirit, good communication skills, and ease of adaptation.
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
· Clear understanding of Computers and Networking.
· Courses and/or experience in BAS programming languages used with Johnson Controls and/or Distech Controls.
· Knowledge in Building Automation Systems.
· HVACR knowledge will be considered an asset.
· Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
· Hold a driver's license and be available for travel throughout Nova Scotia.
