Job Description
Your Moneris Career - The Opportunity
Through prospecting initiatives, Moneris targets new business and market share for the individual business segment. You will gain an understanding of new field customers' needs and match them to Moneris' various payment solutions, our priorities and discover opportunities for Moneris. You will work with cross-functional resources to move the opportunity through the sales cycle, ending in a successful sale
Location: You will work in a remote model
Reporting Relationship: You will report to Manager, IB Field Sales
Your Moneris Career - What you'll do
- Prospect prospective customers/clients and new target segment and penetrate sales in that area
- Accountable to build a sales pipeline to ensure achieving / exceeding targets.
- Use negotiation techniques to manage a win / win situation with the client
- Achieve/exceed sales revenue, count and organizational targets (monthly, annually).
- Create proposals and delivering presentations targeted at solving our needs.
- Maintain knowledge of Moneris products, service and rates, ongoing marketing activities, as well as key competitor products, pricing, strengths and weaknesses.
Your Moneris Career - What you bring
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing or a related field
- Equivalent work experience may be considered a substitution
- 1-2 years of sales experience considered an asset
- Demonstrated track record of developing mid-tier level client relationships
- Valid drivers license and access to a vehicle
Nice-to-have...
- Previous experience in the payment industry considered an asset
